Hands down one of the most incredible shows I have ever been to, and had be going back twice in 1 week.
Fuerza Bruta is an elegant mix of art, unique score, contemporary dance and incredible set design – all mashed up in high-energy show that is a true sensory delight.
The audience is very involved, the crowd is full of energy, and you spend most of your time looking up as the actors and sets around you descend gracefully from the ceiling.
Going in to this with no expectations I was completely blown away at first viewing, and then really enjoyed the second time – being able to concentrate more on the message of the show without the constant look of wonder and bewilderment at all the things happening around me.
Acrobatics, aerialists, swimming, dancing, music, group interaction, lights and sounds. A truly communal and tribal evening. You really don’t want to miss this.
*WeSideTrip Update November 20th 2017: We’ve been told that ‘Fuerza Bruta’ are now away from Buenos Aires on tour for an unknown amount of time. Please double check the website or give them a call to find out if they are back in town*
What I liked Most
Audience interaction throughout the show is incredible.
- Some evenings after the show, it becomes a big dance party with a DJ - but skip this - not worth it.
- Near the end of the show, a waterfall will come down in the center of the floor. Amazing to dance in the rain! Or step away if you don't want to get wet
